Noa and Matias both made Aliyah from Texas, but a few years apart. After being here for about three years, Noa felt that there was something missing: a sense of community between all Olim in Israel, where people could share the good, the bad and the ratchet; which is when Olim in TLV was born. 

When the war broke out they spent the first few days together before making the decision to leave the country until they felt comfortable coming back. During that time Matan was finishing up a trip in Mexico and was trying to get back to his reserve duty.
